Product Overview

QY Insulated Overhead Crane

Structurally similar to a standard hook-type bridge crane, this crane is equipped with insulation at key points—hook assembly, trolley frame, and trolley wheels (or beneath the trolley rails)—to prevent electrical current from charged equipment or lifted loads from endangering the operator. The insulating material is typically epoxy phenolic glass cloth laminated board.

The crane consists of a box-type frame, bridge travel mechanism, trolley, and electrical systems. To ensure operator safety, multiple insulation barriers (with a resistance ≥1 MΩ at 20–25°C and ≤85% humidity) are installed at three critical junctions:

Between the hook and pulley

Between the lifting system and trolley frame

Between the trolley frame and the main crane structure

Designed for heavy-duty service (A7 work grade), the main hoist is fitted with dual brakes for enhanced safety.


Mechanical Construction

Double-welded box girder with deflection complying with DIN/FEM standards

Steel materials: Q235B / Q345B (Chinese standards)

Trolley rail made of high-strength hot-rolled flat steel (16Mn)

Epoxy zinc-rich primer and finish coat (total 120μm) for durability and appearance

Main girder and end beams connected by high-strength bolts for structural integrity

End beams equipped with flat or double-flanged wheels, anti-friction bearings, buffers, and anti-derailment plates

Maintenance walkway on one side of the girder, with checkered plate and 1050 mm handrail
